Regardless of your preferred LSAT offering, Manhattan Review's LSAT practice tests will help you refine your study plans and evaluate your skill development. Data on law school admissions are widely available, and the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is one of the most reliable sources of information. LSAC publishes an admissions calculator that allows prospective law school applicants to view their chances of acceptance to any American Bar Association-accredited school by entering their undergraduate GPA and LSAT score. According to LSAC, a hypothetical applicant to Boston College Law School with a 3.5 GPA and a 160 LSAT would have an approximately 33% chance of success. With no change in GPA and an increase to an LSAT score of 165, that same applicant's chances shoot up to about 83%. LSAC statistics further show that a Boston College applicant with a 165 LSAT and a bare-minimum 3.0 GPA would be almost as likely to be accepted as rejected (45%), with better admission odds than a candidate with a lower LSAT score and a higher GPA. LSAC data demonstrates that the LSAT is frequently a more important factor in the law school admissions process than GPA, and unlike GPA, an LSAT score can be improved in a relatively short period of time.
